People studying religious education with a view to teaching the subject in schools or nurturing people of school age and below in the Christian faith in Church of England/Wales or ecumenical contexts. No grants to UK students studying overseas but students with an Anglican background from overseas wishing to work with young people in their own country after qualification welcome to apply. Support for higher degrees where the research is into to nature and teaching of religious education in a school or church context also possible. Most consideration given to students not eligible for normal range of government support for reasons to be stated on the application form.
One-off and two or three year grants in the range of £500 to £5000 p.a.
